Food throws (known by many other names too) are ideal for keeping insects off food, useful at the table, barbecues, picnics, etc. The small throw ($12) is aproximately 50cm square and is perfect for a single plate, bowl, or basket, while the large throw ($30) is just over 1 metre square (4 times the size of the small) and works very well for a feast. The throws have no weights around the edges but have a double thickness of cotton that serves to keep the throw in place in a breeze. Throws are generally available in any fabric shown on the Fabrics page plus any seasonal or limited run material that looks good. Feel free to make a request if you want something special. Custom-made throws can be ordered up to aproximately 145cm wide and as long as required, price will depend on size and fabric desired. Note - all the netting is white.
